Apple CEO confirms he invests in cryptocurrency

As part of an online summit at the DealBook conference, Apple CEO Timothy Donald Cook faced various questions regarding cryptocurrencies. Andrew Ross Sorkin, the summit moderator, asked if the CEO of Apple owns cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin or Ethereum. When asked, Tim replied affirmatively. He said that he had already invested in cryptocurrencies. The decision to invest was made after he became interested in them and researched their nature and possibilities. He found cryptocurrencies to be an interesting concept.

"Yes, I have crypto assets. I think it's reasonable to own it as part of a diversified portfolio. But I'm not giving anybody investment advice, by the way ".

When asked what he thinks about NFT, the CEO of Apple said that this field is still very interesting and is attracting more and more celebrities.

At the same time, Cook vehemently denied that Apple could buy virtual assets for corporate funds as a possible investment. He also emphasized that Apple has no plans to accept cryptocurrencies as an alternative payment tool for its goods and service.
