Binance.US will delist AMP token on August 15th

Main cause of delist is the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) which considers the AMP token as a security. 

According to the Binance press release, SEC considers AMP and 8 other tokens as securities, which was regulated by the current legislature. Such a decision they made in the lawsuit against Coinbase where the regulator charges the former lawyer with insider trading. Other tokens are  Powerledger, Kromatika, DFX Finance, Rally, Rari Governance Token, DerivaDAO, LCX and XYO. 

“Out of an abundance of caution, we have decided to delist the AMP token from Binance.US, effective August 15, 2022” - said in the company.    

The crypto exchange added in future the AMP token can be listed again on the platform.
