CityDAO distributes NFTs for land plots in the U.S.

CityDAO, a decentralized project that bought a piece of land in Wyoming, is releasing NFTs for the land.
According to an official statement, the project acquired 40 acres of land in northwest Wyoming on October 29, 2021. This area is abandoned and desolate. However, the very fact of purchase represents an important step in the development of the DAO concept since the buyer was not an organization, a company, or some representative, but a community.
CityDAO is a decentralized project that promotes the idea of shared ownership and management of real assets. In order to become part of a new state, settle in a digital city and join a progressive community, you need to buy an NFT citizenship for 0.25 ETH.
Vitalik Buterin (co-founder of Ethereum), Brian Armstrong (CEO of Coinbase), and several other cryptocurrency celebrities have already received CityDAO citizenship.
It is worth noting that the state of Wyoming, known for its openness to the crypto industry, has passed a new law that allows buying land on behalf of the community as a legal entity. Thus, the idea of a metaverse has been integrated into the real world through the efforts of people from all over the world.
