How reported Business Insider, according to emails which were sent to participants of the campaign, the influencers won't get money since 19 July. Those influencers attracted new users to Coinbase through social networks.    

Early the crypto exchange announced it would cut 1100 staff in anticipation of crypto winter. After that the company said it would close Coinbase Pro, a platform for professional traders.

For the first quarter 2022 the crypto exchange lost $429 million. It was cause to optimize the company's expenses.
