Coinbase Pay integrates MetaMask into its payment system

MetaMask integrates with the Coinbase Pay service, making it possible to buy cryptocurrencies using bank cards and top up a non-custodial wallet from an exchange account.

As reported by MetaMask official developers, almost 30 million of their users would be able to convert fiat money into cryptocurrency in just a few clicks. Full integration is expected within the next few weeks. Coinbase Pay will be added to the MetaMask extension for desktop browsers in the first phase.

Recall that Coinbase first introduced the Coinbase Pay service in March 2022. The developers set a goal to simplify the process of transferring money into digital assets, providing comfort and security. To do this, they decided to merge existing Coinbase user accounts linking them to the banking system with non-custodial wallets.
