Messi starts promoting crypto company Socios
The football player will join the advertising campaign of the project as part of preparations for the FIFA World Cup, to be held in Qatar at the end of 2022.
Reuters reports that Paris Saint-Germain FC and Argentina striker Lionel Messi signed a contract worth over $20 million to promote Socios. The initial contract term is for three years. The footballer will participate in several educational and advertising campaigns for Socios.
The project has partnerships with more than 130 sports organizations, including leading soccer clubs worldwide and teams from the NBA, NHL, and NFL, UFC fighters, Formula 1 representatives, and cyber sports stars.
Recall that earlier, Crypto.com became the official sponsor of the FIFA World Cup, which will be held from November 21 to December 18, 2022, in Qatar. The logo of the trading platform will appear in stadiums that will host matches and outside of them. The service users can attend matches of the championship and win official accessories.
