PayPal allows withdrawal of crypto to external wallets

The payment company introduced new features related to digital assets and received a full BitLicense from the New York City Department of Financial Services.
According to a press release, the PayPal payment company allowed its users to send cryptocurrency to each other and withdraw it to external wallets. The service supports four digital currencies: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, and Litecoin. PayPal also received a full BitLicense license from the New York Department of Financial Services (NYDFS).
In November 2020, U.S. users got access to cryptocurrency through PayPal services. In March 2021, it became possible to pay with digital assets.
Last fall, UK residents gained access to trading and storing cryptocurrency. Since then, they have also had access to educational content and the ability to track real-time digital asset rates.
