Terra's Mirror protocol started actively warning investors about a fraudulent scheme. The attacker tries to conduct a survey on changing security policy, and if the majority of people vote positively, 25 million MIR tokens ($64.2 million) will be transferred to the hacker's account.

Terra Blockchain confirmed the attack by conducting an internal Poll ID: 211, where the scammer offers "Freeze the community pool in case of scam ."The changes involve new security policies whereby an attacker could steal tokens. The poll will run until January 1, but the number of negative responses in the vote is actively growing thanks to the Mirror staff warning about fraud. As of today, more than 28% opposed the introduction of the changes, while only 0.61% were in favor.

Mirror's investigation also revealed six other surveys (ID: 185, 198, 204, 206, 207, 208) that had previously been launched trying to defraud the community pool and take MIR tokens out of there.  A new survey ID: 212 has been launched to further alert users about fraud.
