Terra Bridge now supports Avalanche, Solana, Osmosis, and Fantom

The Terra Project, that promotes its Terra Bridge as "the easiest way to move funds in the cryptocurrency world," has added support for four new blockchains, namely, Avalanche, Solana, Osmosis and Fantom.

Why It Matters:

  • Terra Bridge offers the possibility to send tokens to 11 blockchains
  • The project added support for four new protocols

As project co-founder Do Kwon said on his page, in addition to the four blockchains, digital assets can be sent to Moonbeam and Project Polkadot's DeFi-platforms. Earlier, Terra Bridge added support for Harmony, Injective Protocol, Secret, and Cosmos. In total, the solution supports 11 blockchains, meaning that users can withdraw Terra native coins (UST Stablecoin and LUNA token) to one of these networks. Money can be sent via Wormhole, Axelar, or Shuttle.

As a reminder, Terraform Labs is building up its cryptocurrency reserves. The project team said it intends to increase cryptocurrency reserves to $10 billion.
