The family put everything into Bitcoin. Now They've been traveling around the world for more than four years

For over four years, the Taihuttu family from the Netherlands has been living exclusively off their bitcoin investments.

In 2017, the head of the family, Didi Taihuttu, decided to put everything on the line and invested in bitcoin, selling the profitable business, and completely getting rid of all the family assets, including real estate, cars, motorcycles, and even extra clothes.

The family bought a van, called themselves The Bitcoin family, and decided to devote their time traveling the world and enjoying life without a single bank account.

Didi and his wife came up with the idea to get rid of all their assets in the summer of 2017 during a family trip to Asia and Australia. And when Bitcoin made its first rapid bull run to $20,000 later that year, it only confirmed the family's decision to invest in this coin.

In more than four years of nomadic life full of adventures and discoveries, the family has managed to visit 40 countries and still has no plans to reopen bank accounts, buy real estate, or other property. The Bitcoin family still prefers to keep all their family savings in volatile and liquid cryptocurrencies.
