According to Businesswire, Europe's first exchange-traded fund (ETF) dedicated to the Metaverse, the ETC Group Global Metaverse UCITS ETF, has been added to the London Stock Exchange. The ETF will keep track of the Solactive ETC Group global index, which provides access to 51 companies from the metaverse industry.

The companies listed in the index operate across such sectors as virtual reality, augmented reality, 3d graphics, semiconductors, wireless communications, online gaming, video streaming, blockchain technology, including NFT, and related cloud storage.

This is the second thematic ETF offered by ETC Group in cooperation with HANetf. Earlier, the ETC Group Digital Assets & Blockchain Equity ETF (KOIN) was launched, providing access to digital assets and companies in the blockchain ecosystem, including crypto miners as well as cryptocurrency trading companies.
