Twitter realized the verification option by NFT

Twitter has introduced an NFT profile verification option for its social network. For now, the feature is only available on iOS for subscribers of the premium Twitter Blue package.
As reported on the social network's official page, verification will require linking an Ethereum wallet to a personal account. Coinbase Wallet, MetaMask, Rainbow, Argent, Trust, and Ledger Live wallets are currently supported. Once you select one of the proposed NFTs, it will change your avatar. Instead of the standard circle, it will be a hexagonal shape displayed on all platforms.
Twitter account with NFT will show data about the token, namely, the author of the picture, technical properties, blockchain, and a standard. For now, the feature has been implemented with the NFT marketplace OpenSea. However, there are plans to expand the base in the future.
We should note that one of the drawbacks is that after verification, the company will be able to view the assets and transactions of the user's crypto wallet.
