YouTube will explore NFT features for creators

YouTube is the latest tech giant to join the race for using NFT in its products. Previously, Meta, Twitter, TikTok, and Reddit announced the adoption of NFTs.
According to Reuters, Chief Executive Officer Susan Wojcicki mentioned exploring the use of NFT in a letter to employees.
“We’re always focused on expanding the YouTube ecosystem to help creators capitalize on emerging technologies, including things like NFTs while continuing to strengthen and enhance the experiences creators and fans have on YouTube,” wrote YouTube CEO.
So far, it is not clear how exactly the company plans to use NFT. Some suggest that it could be the same experience as Twitter, which uses NFT to verify users. Others believe it will be a replica of the TikTok strategy, which announced the NFT collection developed by leading creators of the corporation.
